How it all began....
Rachel Slife started as an apprentice in 2002 in a nail salon focused on natural nail health. It was in that serendipitous opportunity where she found her God-given calling and passion for hand and foot health through natural and non-toxic products.
While working as a nail tech, Rachel also gained her certification in massage therapy, then her undergraduate degree in exercise science, and finally went on to earn a doctorate in physical therapy. While in PT school, Rachel stepped away from work to focus on studies and starting her family. She practiced as a physical therapist for 3 years before taking the leap in returning to nail wellness, and opened her private studio, Revive Nail Studio, in 2016.
10 years later, Rachel has continued to grow in knowledge and experience. She has developed 5 all-natural products for her brand and now hears God drawing her to the education space.
Rachel founded Revive Nail Academy in 2024 with a mission to equip fellow nail technicians with a deeper scientific understanding of nail health, as well as courses focused on other non-traditional nail health and wellness knowledge and skills.
